ABOUT US

We are an established consultancy company working in the education finance sector. Now in our 6th year of trading we are looking to grow the team once again.

We have many new projects coming in to the business and need someone who is looking to have a long-term career with us and add support through this growth period. Therefore, although this is an Apprenticeship role, we are looking for the successful candidate to remain with us long after they gain their qualification(s).

We are a friendly team and have a positive, upbeat, happy culture. We pride ourselves on being flexible for our staff and give them a good work life balance, but in return we want commitment and passion.

Our offices are based in Dartford, just before the bridge, however this role will require regular travel to clients’ premises.

THE ROLE

As an Apprentice with EduFin, you will gain fantastic insight and experience into the education finance sector whilst we support you to achieve your Advanced Diploma in Accounting (AAT).

The AAT qualification is one of the most recognised in the Finance industry and could lead to you studying for your ACCA through us if you so wish.

You will be supported through your training with the firm; shadowing our consultants on site to start with and then being able to assist us with finance assistant roles; working your way up to consultancy days as you gain experience.

We also run a Helpdesk and have designed various software packages; so if you like IT as well as finance then you will never be bored with us!

THE PERSON

Due to this being an apprentice role there isn’t a list of skills that we require or desire you have. We are simply looking for someone with a great work ethic who is confident in face to face situations and wants to learn what we do!

There is great satisfaction from our work and we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service to all of our clients – so this must be important to you also. Most importantly you will need to be able to let your hair down once in a while; we work hard so love our days out when we can let off some steam around the go-kart track or relax with a massage!

Oh and of course you will need a clean driving licence and access to a car as there will be travel involved (mileage reimbursed to you of course).

application DEADLINE: friday 7th december

interviews: week commencing 17th december

To apply for this vacancy please send your CV to carina@edufin.co.uk along with a short statement as to why you would be great for this role.
