Due Diligence

Trustees are responsible for the safeguarding of the Trust’s resources.

EduFin are sector specialists with a deep understanding of Governance Frameworks and the complexities of the education landscape.

Due Diligence is critical when a MAT is considering whether to merge or collaborate with another MAT or School. It ensures you have a complete and accurate picture, reducing risk and avoiding unforeseen issues.

Our Due Diligence service is designed to support MATS in evaluating prospective academies, ensuring alignment with your strategic objectives and long term vision.

Our experienced consultants work exclusively across the education sector and understand the operational, financial and strategic implications of onboarding new academies into your Trust. We work closely with Trustees and Senior Leaders to identify potential risks, provide objective insight, and enable informed decision-making that leads to successful outcomes.

We have worked with a number of MATs to undertake due diligence. Each contract is unique and built to suit your needs. In some cases we have undertaken the full due diligence process in others we have provided a more supportive role.
