EduFin take on Fun Run in aid of Maudsley Charity

This month members of our EduFin team took on the challenge of running the Inflatable 5K in support of The Maudsley Charity's #CHANGETHESTORY initiative for young people.

 According to Maudsley;

·      On average, 3 children in every classroom have a diagnosable mental illness.

·      Half of all adult mental health conditions are present by the age of 14.

·      And currently 200 children every year in the UK die from suicide.

To alter these harrowing statistics, Maudsley Charity are on a mission to change the story on children’s mental health and EduFin are eager to support their pursuit.

This month, our team decided to take on the world's largest fun run, the 'Inflatable 5K’, in a bid to raise funds to support young peoples mental health. It’s safe to say they did not disappoint!

EduFin Consultant and fun run organiser Emma Djemal said “ It was really lovely to see so many people pushing themselves in aid of charity. The team really went for it and we all had a brilliant time – we may have a got a little competitive!  I hope we’re able to make a difference with the money we’ve raised.”

Director, Tracy Dawson added “The Maudsley Charity is close to the hearts of many members of our team. They’re a brilliant charity who show incredible care to young people. We want to support them in any way we can. Well done to everyone in our amazing team who got involved in this year’s Inflatable 5K! We look forward to planning more fundraisers in the future.”
